Who: Haruka and Himeko
Where: Common rooms.
When: Monday, April 17, late evening
What: Discussing everything that happened. (Backthreading!!)
(Sorry! I know I’m late posting this D: Had a lot to do with homework and deadlines during the past few weeks and now I have to prepare everything for moving in less than two weeks... I try to post as often as I can, though… >o<)
It was late. Long after curfew already. Himeko was pretty exhausted from everything that had happened today. But she was also too confused to actually get some sleep just yet.
That was probably one of the reasons she wandered around the girls' dorms at this late hour.
She liked extreme situations. At first, she also thought about today’s happening as something extreme, something exciting. Being a hero sounded like fun. Even if with 'monster hunting' added to it, her schedule would get even busier than it was before, the experience and the fun was probably worth it.
But then again the whole thing was way too unrealistic. Fighting monsters in some kind of strange parallel world? That sounded more like taken from a fantasy novel, rather than being true.
It also seemed highly risky to her. If they all would die during those missions, how would the staff members explain it to their families?
Honestly, part of her was afraid of participating in this. The stabbing reminded her of something not too long ago, she wanted to forget and generally she felt oppressed without having the choice of participating or not.
She didn’t really want to admit it, but another reason for her wandering around was the urge to talk today through with someone. Someone, she felt she could trust and whose opinion she somehow cared about.
To Himeko her roommate, Haruka, was someone like that.
They got along pretty well for the short period of time they roomed together until now. Even a little better than the idol-wannabe had previously thought they would. After just a few days of being assigned to the same room Himeko, who usually needed some time to fully trust someone she newly met, found herself talking about things with Haruka, she normally wouldn’t discuss with others after just recently getting to know them.
Sadly, her roommate hadn’t been coming back to their room for the whole day today.
She definitely had her reasons for doing so, but still, before she even realized it Himeko had started searching for her.
Having been almost anywhere inside the building by now, she finally stopped in front of the only place she hadn’t looked into before; the common rooms. If she wasn’t in here it would be for the best to just give up and quietly return to their room.
Himeko carefully opened the door and peeked inside. Her expression brightened as soon as she saw a familiar person sitting there at one of the tables.
“Haruru? That is where you have been the whole time?”,she quietly addressed the other girl, while entering the room and silently shutting the door behind her.

“It’s already hard enough seeing this guy around without a dream like that anyway...”,she let out a pained sigh.
“Just stop making fun of it! If you really decide to cry the night through, I’ll throw you out of the room…or shut you up with a pillow or something. You can choose.”, it was pretty clear that she was joking. If her roommate would really decide to keep her awake like this though, she definitely would do something against it.

"Wow. You'd throw me out or smother me for horrible emotional duress?" She asked, though jokingly. After a beat, she continued, "Feeling tired? Or going to take advantage of our day off tomorrow?"

“That’s only natural, right? You don’t seem like the type, who would think of a dream like that as too horrible. “, she chuckled. “You’d just do it to annoy me anyway!”
Himeko paused a little and thought about the question before she gave an answer.
“I’m tired. But too lazy to get up and walk back to our room! You wouldn’t carry me there by chance as some kind of paypack for the inner cinema just now?”, she joked.
“But honestly, I’m going to take advantage of our day off tomorrow for sure. I’ll probably end up spending the whole day with catching up on sleep and drinking cocoa! What about you Haruru?”

"Could try? I might end up dropping you thought," she replied. "I guess if worst comes to worse we could just camp out here? Not like the couches aren't comfy enough.
"Probably sleep in and then go out. Everyone else is in classes so might as well go enjoy things. Better than holing up in the room at least."

“It’s not like I’m that heavy, though. I doubt you’d collapse.”, she added and chuckled at the thought. Due to her training routine she had always been slimmer and lighter than most of the other girls around her. She kind of hated it because she wasn’t allowed to eat as much as she would like to, but she also learned to bear with it. Plus, she never really followed those rules that strictly anyway.
“I see. Well… Camping out here doesn’t seem to be the worst idea.”, Himeko agreed after thinking it through for a little while. “But if anyone finds us here we have to listen to their lectures all day long and I’d hate that.”, she slightly grimaced. Lectures were one of her weak spots. They were tiring and she utterly hated to listen to them.

"Not all day. I think Yachiyo-sensei's word overrules theirs." Something flickered on Haruka's face for a moment before it was gone. "Exhaustion seems like a good excuse? Slipped our conscious minds how late it was."

“Even if they are just 5 minutes long. Lectures are lectures and they are the worst…”, she mumbled and sighed once more. “I wouldn’t want anyone to see me down here like this…but can’t be helped, I guess? If you decide to sleep down here, I’ll probably tag along.”, the idol-wannabe shrugged. She wasn’t in the mood to argue any further. All she wanted right now was a place to finally get some sleep.

Haruka seemed to think on that. She felt the couch and gave it a light squeeze, memorizing the feeling. It really was comfy and the room was four flights up.
"Probably just stay here for a little bit. The adults can deal with it if they see us." She folded up her legs so that they rested on the couch and she laid her head on the arm rest. Turning her head slightly in Hachi's direction, she said, "We can sneak back upstairs later or pretend we got up extra early."
