Discovery (Event)
Who: Persona-users, Sayuri, ensemble NPC cast.
Where: Various.
When: Saturday, May 6, homeroom.
What: Something isn't right.
The Friday after Golden Week had come and gone without much fanfare. Things had rapidly returned to normal, save for some chatter about students' various adventures over the holiday.
Starting out, Saturday looked to be much the same, by and large. Students in 1-ho, 2-ni, and 3-ha might have thought it odd that they had substitute teachers for homeroom, particularly given that their regular teachers been present the previous day, but most shrugged it off without a second thought.
Snuck into the homeroom announcements was another blink-and-you'll-miss-it peculiarity: members of the Critical Thinking class were to report to the auditorium at the end of homeroom for a mandatory guest lecture.
Such events weren't unheard of; Chitoku's brochures had even mentioned them as a selling point. To the student body at large, this was simply the first thus far.
No doubt the students being called knew better.

Side thread: Sayuri
The call to the counselor's office had come before homeroom. Again, peculiar, but nothing anyone might find suspicious.
Except, perhaps, Sayuri herself.

Dorm investigation
The lobby only held Aya, whose height and casual dress would likely have set her apart from most of Chitoku's inhabitants even in a crowded room.
"Hey." She greeted the newcomers with a quick bow, her casual manner belied by the tension in her shoulders. "413, right? Let's go. Don't wanna keep 'em waiting."

Other world investigation
Araragi and Komatani, on the other hand, were all too alert. Both wore the full Demonica suits, helmets down and weapons at the ready. No Shadows were in sight, but under the circumstances, they had to play it safe.
The smaller of the two suited figures -- Komatani -- took a step forward. "Was wondering when she'd finally send someone. No sign of Hazama and the Shadows are way too quiet -- that's all the intel we've got. Imaizumi, see if you can do any better."
