Mini-event: Awakening 4

Who: Minoru, ensemble NPC cast.

What: The Call comes again.


The summons came this time at the end of kyudo -- a day with no captain, it seemed, and with Golden Week, all but the most dutiful or devoted were less than inclined to keep up their practice, especially without the magnetism of their captain keeping them there. Indeed, several members had already departed to start the Golden Week festivities early.

Which meant that relatively few were there to notice a rather nondescript staff member drop in, summon Suzuki Minoru to the main meeting hall, and practically vanish before he could be questioned.

Had Mirai been there, he might have recognized the pattern. Perhaps it was fortunate for all involved that he was not.

The thing about Minoru was that he didn't need to be given reasons to come. Merely being summoned was enough to make him put his equipment down, and, in a manner as orderly as possible, come along. He would only change back to his uniform if they gave him time, but otherwise he would just follow in his kyudo uniform, and in any event, did so with his eyes set straight and without asking questions.

None. No adolescent "where are we going?" Or "will I be back in time to continue my practice?" No questions asked.
