The situation was increasingly curious right now. There was something in his mind that gave him more than human power. But the adults around him were treating it - and him - as something that was to be used for their benefit. He hovered at the back of the room like a vulture, and observed which students were happy and which looked like they wanted to get off.

This kept his gaze off Miyume and her sombre expression. But at that moment he was becoming so focused on her that he went on obsessing and paid little attention to what was changing. He took full notice of the fact she seemed to grow more ill the longer she stayed and found he was not quite satisfied with these adults passing judgement on both of them.

Chloe, however, would find that he was not quite happy about her arrangement either. He stood there casting them both glances at every other moment, but made no move of any kind.
