Mirai came late. One minute after the last student. A dead-on-time arrival based on his own timekeeping would cause at least some frustration to Yachiyo-sensei and friends - and it was utterly deliberate. There was enough time for him to make them fuming. He had left it till the death so that Yachiyo could only grow angry. It was no fun keeping people comfortable and safe from anyone and their particular brand of fun.
