Before her hand had finished stroking, Mirai gently plucked the wrist to raise it to his ear. When the wall he had been building had begun crumbling down, Miyume was the person who had been standing there with armfuls of bricks and his flask of tea - which he was glad to learn had something stronger. Whatever help she thought she could give, he felt that he was interested in taking anything he could from it.
"It's hard, Miyume. I'm a selfish guy. You are just too kind because you're still here even though you know what I am. Don't think bad of me. You should understand me better."
