The sudden wave of vertigo unnerved her. She felt... strange. Not quite attached to herself but not completely attached to herself either. In her disorientation, she moved away slightly just as Mirai's grip on her weakened. The dizziness combined with the fatigue and muscle aches she'd been suffering most of the day was just too much for her manage on her own. She slipped out of Mirai's grasp and crumpled to the floor like a puppet whose strings had suddenly been cut. Miyume just knelt on the floor, holding a hand to her forehead. Those familiar with such things would recognize it as the location of the fabled third eye. She managed to push herself back into a sitting position but remained on the floor, keeping her eyes closed.
