Chloe walked in uncharacteristically late. If she had looked bad before, it was NOTHING to how she looked now. The dark circles under her eyes were more prominent as if she had stopped sleeping entirely. Her hair was unkempt and her eyes, usually so icy yet attentive, seemed dead. Care was not placed into making sure her uniform looked alright and she seemed paler, as if she were sickly. Strangest of all, her right hand was bandaged as it hung limply by her side. The bandages were neat, but not professionally done; it looked like someone with good knowledge of basic first aid had done it instead of a trained doctor... which probably meant she had bandaged it herself instead of going to the nurses office. The hand periodically flexed for no reason.

The gaijin stood at the back as usual, her gaze directed to the floor, waiting for this little meeting of theirs to kick off. She wouldn't have come unless she thought she might get some answers... because that's what they all needed right now; answers.
