Partner projects were inevitable.

It'd been a few weeks of classes when, during literature, it was announced they would be breaking into pairs to discuss what lessons could be taken from different famous myths, what meaning it might have held in the past and what meanings can apply to the present. Yamagata named off the pairs and assigned each a myth.

When it came to Haruka, he said she was with Ogata and that they would be studying the Izanagi and Izanami's part in the story of creation.

She tilted her head curiously. The new guy who's name was like a spirit, huh...

The class broke up for discussion. She stood and began walking back up the aisle. Ogata had sounded like he was around the middle of the row...

The sound she heard was probably Baku lamenting over the project itself through a series of huffs and sighs. One of the sections of history I'm not good at. Wonderful. And that's when the corner of his eye led him to focus on a peculiar sight: there was a girl walking towards him with her eyes closed. That must be Haruka, his project partner. He'd heard a few of the other kids remark about her blindness, and the cane was as big an indicator of anything else. Well, she can't see you, so you'll have to lead her to you. What're you doing, letting a blind girl come to you anyways? You were raised better than that.

"Uhh, hi," he decided to speak up as she approached him, "you must be Shikata-san." He offers her a gentle smile along with his greeting before he reminds himself that she can't see it. This will take some getting used to, for sure.
